What to Expect

Mosaik Spa is a fully licensed home-based business.   I also undergo yearly health inspections to ensure the spa's sanitizations are met with the highest standards.   Examples of this are that the spa uses individual nail and foot files for each client, and don't use a whirlpool pedicure chair as whirlpool jets can hold bacteria.   Our treatments are designed for rest, relaxation, and your health in mind!

Health Information

A general health information form must be completed at your first visit, in order for us to correctly evaluate your specific needs.   This information will be kept confidential, and is relative for the safety of your treatment.

Appointment Requests

You may request your appointment by phone and email.  

Please phone 604.556.7298, and please leave as much information as possible: your name, number, desired service(s) and time(s) you would like your appointment.  

Please realize I am not able to answer the phone while in treatment.   I will respond to your phone call as soon as I am able to.

Reservations

Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time.   Most often your scheduled appointment time cannot be extended.   I take into consideration the time needed for consultation, undressing and dressing when booking your appointment.  

Missed Appointments :   If you have not arrived or phoned us within 10 minutes after your appointment time, it will be considered a missed appointment.   We will do our best to contact you at the 10-minute mark.  

Cancellations:   Please be considerate to the spa and to the other clients who may be waiting for an open appointment slot.   The more notice you can give us for the cancellation, the better.

If we notice missed appointments and/or cancellations within 24 hours has occurred more than twice, we will charge 50% for future missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours.

Late Arrivals:   Running Late?   A courtesy phonecall is very much appreciated.   I will work efficiently, without rushing you, to complete your treatment within the remaining time slot.   Timing for your appointment will be determined upon time available.   You will be responsible for the full service fee.

Draping and Comfort

We respect your privacy during all treatments.   Only the area your therapist is working on will be undraped.   Expected undress will be explained to you before your treatment commences.   Please communicate with your therapist regarding your comfort.  

Additional Considerations

         For the safety of our therapists, our in-studio and Spa Party treatments are for female clientele only.

         For our Vacation Locations, a male client must be accompanied by a female, or we can only book the appointment if we have 2 therapists available.
